Position Summary: The CCFA seeks a Credit-Based Human Resources Intern for our National Office located in New York City. This position provides administrative and technical assistance to the Human Resources department while upholding the mission and values of CCFA. 

Essential Functions

  • Sterling - Running Background Checks
  • Scheduling time availabilities for interviews using Outlook Scheduling Assistant
  • Create job postings on various recruiting sites using CCFA provided information
  • Organize filing room & assisting with management of I-9s
  • Research topics such as external planning firms, excessive sick days, staffing firms, and office fundraising ideas
  • Create fliers and certificates
  • Provide administrative support such as scanning and filing employee information.
  • Assist with posting job ads on relevant websites as guided by the VP, Human Resources.
  • Sort, print and organize resumes as needed.
  • Send out rejection letters to all applicable candidates.
  • Assist with additional projects as needed.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Excellent oral and written English communication skills
  • Must be detail and figure oriented
  • Ability to prioritize, work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of MS Office (Publisher, Excel, Outlook)
  • Prior experience a plus

Compensation

Unpaid- Must be willing to receive academic credit
